Crocodiles, Sloths & Beach Experience

Experience the natural habitat of the white-faced Capuchin monkeys up close and personal!

We will access this unique habitat via private property, entering through a local residence that grants us exclusive access to the monkeys. You’ll have the chance to interact directly with dozens of monkeys, guided by our expert naturalists.

Tour Highlights: 

Monkey Interaction: Get up close with the most intelligent species of monkeys in the New World. Our naturalist guides will provide a safe and informative experience, suitable for all ages. Learn about their family organization, the roles of alphas and betas, and how to estimate their age. 

Grande de Tarcoles: Visit the famous crocodiles and enjoy local souvenirs and a buffet-style restaurant (Soda) serving Costa Rican food, known for contributing to the country’s high life expectancy.

Optional Boat Tour: For an extra $45, take a 1.40 hr  crocodile boat tour, including bird watching and a naturalist guide.  

Hidden Beach in Jaco: Visit a secluded beach to observe two- and three-toed sloths. Relax with chairs, a table, drinks, and snacks provided.
